If you are a resident or summer resident of Maine, write or
contact your State Representative or State Senator.
- Identify
your current State Representative and State Senator and
let them know of your concern about the Dennis Dechaine case.
- Buy the Book "Human
Sacrifice", by James Moore, published by
Blackberry Press, Nobleboro, Maine. ($15.00
- Buy as many additional copies of the book as possible and lend
them to your friends and to anyone who might be able to help in the
campaign to free Dennis Dechaine. Be prepared to resell them
or give them to others.
- Write newspapers and radio and TV stations about your belief that
Dennis Dechaine is innocent and should be freed, or that a commission
should be established to fully review the case. Can what happened in
Illinois and most other states happen here? It did.
- Send ideas to: Trial & Error, c/o Carol Waltman, P.O.

Think of and do anything else that you think is reasonable, and which
might be helpful to assist a man who has been unjustly imprisoned for
16+ years for a crime that he did not commit.
